All sensitive information you supply is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into protected Customers Bank databases only to be accessed as stated above.

INFORMATION DISCLOSURE

Customers Bank does not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information unless we provide you with advance notice, except as described below. The term “outside parties” does not include facilitators of Online Banking, BillPay or Business BillPay. It also does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting Customers Bank business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.

SITE PRIVACY. INFORMATION COLLECTION.

We collect information from you when you register on the site, complete a form, enter a contest or sweepstakes, respond to a survey or communication such as e-mail, or participate in another site feature. When registering or completing a form- secure or otherwise- we may ask you for your name, date of birth, email address, mailing address, daytime phone number or other information. You may, however, visit our site anonymously without registering. Like many websites, we may or may not use “cookies” to enhance your experience and gather information about visits to our websites. We also receive and store statistical data and other information about visits to our websites. This information is used to analyze and improve the website experience for Customers Bank customers.

We may use the information we collect from you when you register, complete a form, enter a contest or promotion, respond to a survey or marketing communication, surf the website or use certain other site features in the following ways: To allow customization of our site, banking products and to store user information for future retrieval. To allow us to better service you in responding to your customer service requests. To quickly process your requests. To administer a contest, promotion, survey or other site feature. Visitors who register or participate in other site features such as marketing programs and partner’s content may or may not be given a choice whether they would like to be on our email list and receive email communications from us.

Where we process account registration data and personal data in connection with the provision of banking services, we do this for as long as you are an account holder and for 6 years after you terminate your account. Where we process personal data in order to comply with our legal obligations (for example, “know-yourclient” information processed for anti-money laundering purposes) we will retain this for as long as you use our services, and in compliance with our regulatory obligations as set by the Financial Conduct Authority thereafter. Where we process personal data for marketing purposes or with your consent, we process the data until you ask us to stop and for a short period after this (to allow us to implement your requests). We also keep a record of the fact that you have asked us not to send you direct marketing or to process your data so that we can respect your request in future.
